Epsilon is preparing to ship a chiller plant with N+2 redundancy for a data center client in New Jersey. The total installed capacity will be 2,400-tons, comprised of three interconnected 800-ton plants. The plant’s internal infrastructure is designed to accommodate two additional 800-ton plants as the base load grows.
The total buildout will be 3,800 sq. ft., made up of 12 modules, with cooling towers mounted directly above on pre-fabricated, pre-piped/wired mezzanine sections. Another interesting feature: the concrete pad below this plant will incorporate a remote sub-grade cooling tower basin, with vertical turbine condenser water pumps.
