Over the past several years, we have published a number of case studies that tell the stories of how Epsilon designed, fabricated, and installed solutions to the unique challenges faced by our clients and their project teams. However, those studies are just the tip of the iceberg, representing a sample of countless other projects that Epsilon has delivered – each with its own unique story.
Those studies are selected to provide a broad perspective on Epsilon’s experience; they are also the outward-facing product of our own internal post-project review process. Whether we call them case studies or project reviews, these after-action summaries are much more than a marketing effort; in fact, they tangibly benefit several key stakeholder groups.
Current employees benefit from seeing the big picture of how a project comes together and the value we provide our clients. The public case study summarizes the challenge and our solution well, while the internal post-project reviews present opportunities for learning and process improvement. By engaging employees in project reviews, we can more quickly apply lessons learned to future projects, including those currently in the design and manufacturing process. That means we immediately produce a better solution.
Sharing our public case studies with future employees and our recruiting talent pool is an excellent way to showcase our work and how it impacts our customers. Welders, pipefitters, electricians, designers, and office staff all see the same information – and get a better appreciation for how projects come together, not to mention why customers make the choice to work with Epsilon. They can better understand our rigorous standards and learn how our culture manifests in the solutions we provide.
For potential Epsilon customers, these studies on our website may provide their first exposure to what Epsilon does, for whom, and why. As we engage with them to better understand their needs, challenges, and goals, we may share other case studies (or unpublished examples) that are relevant to their specific challenges or applications. The result is a better appreciation for Epsilon’s value proposition, an understanding of the depth of experience and expertise we bring to the table, and a quicker route to determining if there’s a way for Epsilon to positively impact their next project.
