Small Packages Solve Big Challenges: Epsilon Fire Pump Skid Systems

By June 26, 2024July 9th, 2024No Comments

Epsilon’s packaged utility systems have grown in size and complexity over the years to the point that we’re now regularly designing and building systems measured in the tens of thousands of tons. However, we continue to deliver lots of smaller systems – and the fire pump skid business with Xylem is a great example of that.

These skids are designed and configured to meet all the relevant NFPA standards for fire suppression, including piping, valves, pumps, and controllers. System sizes typically range from 250 GPM through 2,500 GPM, with most being single VIL pumps, with occasional dual-duty/standby applications as required by the project.

End-user applications range from condominiums to transportation, commercial, and medical facilities. The systems are designed and configured for integration into new construction projects and for replacing existing fire pump systems, which means the footprints and heights are always optimized for the specific rigging application.

If you have a smaller application and are wondering how the off-Site Construction approach can help, contact the Epsilon team today.
