From Concept to Reality: We recently shipped this three-module heating/pumping skid package for a new campus building at New York University (NYU) located at 181 Mercer St. in New York City. The system includes pumping for chilled-water (14 kgpm), heating hot-water (2.7 kgpm) and domestic hot-water (2 kgpm), along with integral heat exchangers and extensive multi-service piping.
According to NYU, the new facility will house much-needed new classrooms, performing arts education and training spaces, a modern athletic facility, and student and faculty housing. Off-Site Construction (OSC) was selected by the project team to address NYU’s Restrictive Declaration commitments for construction mitigation – which aims to minimize the effects of dust, noise and traffic in the vicinity of a construction site. Contact Epsilon or HTS-New York for more information about how OSC can help you meet the unique challenges of your next project.
